Process...

Thought I would post the process for designing this guy. 

I found him pretty fast, but it's not always that way  :)

Some of the development work I did for my "hopefully I'll make this book some day" children's book.

The title is still a work in process but I do like "Marty and Me" the most so far.

Drawling book

Some recent sketches of my son and random people on the street while I was waiting for various things. The bottom right are ballpoint pen and the rest are prismacolor pencil. Hope ya'll are having a great week so far!!

Expressions!

More expressions! For anyone interested. These are for a story I wrote back in college called "Areva". I also altered her design slightly to make her a bit more youthful and to accommodate more natural expressions.  The colored image is the older design. Not much of a difference, but enough to make the expressions feel more natural. I hope.  :)

Youngest Witch... Cottage interior

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Life is always crazy. BUT I thought I would share this interior design along with a daylight and night time tonal studies.

Here's one of the color studies too. The idea is that Sarah's home is her safe haven, the one place in all the world where she remembers being loved the most. Golden sunlight always made me feel this way so I tried to put as much of those feelings into these colors as possible.  Thanks for stopping by!! I'll post the final painting once it's finished.
